Michael Allen Cedar, 49, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at his home.
Michael is going to be missed by his wife, Ruth Ann Cedar; step-children, Diona, Sara, and Dylan; mother, Verne Holloway (Jeff); father, Michael T. Cedar; brother, John D. Cedar (Tonya); step-brothers, Denver Lee Davis and Scott Wiles; nephew and nieces, Wesley Cedar (Jocelyn), Haley Cedar, and Riley Cedar; grandmother, Jeanette "Meme" Holloway; mother-in-law, Lee Sheppard; aunt, Dolores Cedar and his dog, Zeus.
Michael was born on Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on August 31, 1976. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolores A. Cedar, Herbert E. Cedar, Lee Bennett and Leona M. Bennett; uncle, David Cedar, and step-grandfather, Robert L. Holloway, Sr. Michael was employed with AWP. He loved his wife and children and his family meant the world to him. He started an Audio Car Club called "Joker" and served as president. He and Ruth competed in many competitions over the last 6 years and for a time, was ranked #1 in the southeast. He was always helpful to others and would give you the shirt off of his back. He will be remembered for being a kid at heart, he had train sets and enjoyed putting Legos together. Michael is going to be missed.
The visitation will be on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The memorial service to honor Michael's life will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
