Michael Chadwick "Chad" Thomas, 48, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022.

He was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA on February 24, 1974 to Patton and Donna Boxxe Thomas.  Chad was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church.  He was a 1992 graduate of Groves High School where he participated in football.  He was a carpenter by trade and worked for several contracting companies during his career.  Chad will be remembered for his warm smile, his hearty contagious laugh, and most of all, for his kind heart and great hugs.  He will be sorely missed by family and friends who love him dearly.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Lucille Thomas and George and Ruby Boxxe.

Survivors include his son, Garrett Thomas; daughter, Emma Thomas; son, Jackson Bland; sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Jon Gondel; life partner, Tobey-Rae Woods; parents, Patton and Donna Thomas, and his faithful canine, Maggie.

The visitation will be on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home.  The funeral will follow at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
