Michael Wayne Chapman, Jr., 43, of Hinesville, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Liberty Regional Medical Center.

Wayne was born in Savannah, GA and was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Thomas Rowe and his biological father, Michael Wayne Chapman, Sr.  Wayne had battled a number of health issues in recent years but when he was healthy, he drove a taxi, a tow truck, and was a shrimper.

Survivors include his wife, Brandy Chapman; children, Amanda Chapman (Cody), Cassie Chapman, Brittany Rahn, Katelyn Rahn, Erin, and Sarah; grandchildren, Kaylee and Braylee; mother, Marie Rowe; siblings, Christina Lewis (Bobby), Charles Rowe, Jr., and Kristie Rowe; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Allison, Brandon, Christian, Dylan, Allen, and Hannah, as well as several aunts and uncles.

The memorial service to honor Wayne's life will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.
