Rincon – Michael "Mickey" Hudson, Sr., 86, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at his home.

He was born January 13, 1936 to the late Pete Hudson and Rose McNeely. He was retired from Mike Hudson Motors in Savannah, GA after 54 years. The car business was what he enjoyed most in life. His passion was buying and selling cars. He loved the mountains and spent many wonderful years with his wife in Blairsville, GA. Many friendships were formed.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Gloria Hudson; three sons, Mike Hudson (Jeannie) of Oak Hill, FL, Michael E. Hudson, Jr. of Rincon, and Tim Hudson (Kay) of Guyton; two daughters, Dana Hudson of Savannah and Christy T. Sanders (Tommy) of Rincon; a brother, Grover Hudson of Statesboro; three sisters, Rowena Shadburn of Macon, Patricia Whidby of Macon, and Kitty Lane of Statesboro; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Bunny Poole of California and a sister, Earline Berry of South Carolina. Also, his precious Grandmother "Babe" that loved and cared for him as a child.

He will be laid to rest 1:30 pm Monday, April 4, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, but his eternal home is in Heaven.
