Michael W. Jones, 61, of Brooklet, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Michael was born in Miami, Oklahoma and had lived here for a number of years.  He loved and served his country, and was employed at International Paper.  He loved being "Papa Bear" to his loving family, and had a love for Israel.  He will be remembered for being the "greatest man on earth".

Survivors include his wife, Dori Jones; son, Garrett Ray Jones; step-children, Rachael Brown (Donald) and Thomas Schmidt; grandchildren, Abigail Brown and Zoey Wood; parents, Bobby Joe and Shirley McAlister; brother, Bobby Joe McAlister, Jr., and sister, Missy Darity.

The memorial service to honor Michael's life will be on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Kol Mashiach Messianic Synagogue located at 2436 Croton Road in Melbourne, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Kol Mashiach Messianic Synagogue.
