Bloomingdale-Mr. Michael L. King, 39, died on Friday, December 12, 2008 at Candler Hospital.

Michael was born in Savannah and was a loving, devoted husband and father. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the S.A.D.A. (Savannah Area Darting Association).

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Kristin E. King of Bloomingdale; children, Kayla R. and Michael C. King; father and mother, Charles & Anna King of Pooler; brother, Scott B. Allen of Pooler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin & Connie Mullett of Savannah and a number of personal friends and other relatives, including his birth father, Dicky Allen of Richmond Hill.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. on Monday at the Calvary Assembly of God Church on Highway 80 in Bloomingdale. Burial will follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens on Highway 119 in Effingham County.
