Michael A. Mock
Springfield – Michael A. Mock, 57, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Candler Hospital.
The Chatham County native served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a painter, an avid outdoorsman enjoying, fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Heyward Mock.
Survivors include his mother, Mary P. Mock; children, Jennifer Martin, Carrie Mock Bishop, Carl Mock, and Kristina Mock; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Deborah Mock Joyner, Barbara Mock Campbell (Steve), and Bethany Mock; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3 p.m.to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 4 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 2966 Ebenezer Road, Rincon, GA 31326.
