Obituary
Port Wentworth-Michael Philmore Williams, 58, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015.
Michael was born in Savannah, and was a member of Port Wentworth United Methodist Church. He loved to scuba dive, and had volunteered with the search and rescue team. He was preceded in death by his father, Frealing James Williams; sister, Jeri Taylor; maternal grandparents, Aaron & Ethel Strickland.
Survivors include his mother, Audrey Williams; sisters, Diane Webb, Sandra Davis, and Vanessa Maggar; step-brothers, Carl and Randy Waldron; several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler. Private burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the Port Wentworth United Methodist Church, 201 Turnberry Street, Port Wentworth, GA 31407
