Mr. Michael John Taylor, 71, of Tybee Island, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Taylor was born in Bradford, PA to the late Jack & Priscilla Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Floyd Taylor. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 30 plus years and retired as a Chief Master Sgt. He was the former owner of Taylor Roofing Company in Bradford, and was known as the Tybee Island "Handy-Man".
Survivors include his children, Mark (Pattie) Taylor and Scott (Julie) Taylor, both of Erie, PA, and Matthew Taylor of Bradford; step-sons, Forrest Floyd of Guyton, GA and Will (Dr. Tracy) Floyd of Rincon, GA; step-daughter-in-law, Nancy G. Floyd of Guyton; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sister, Toni (Carlos) Gonzalez of Baltimore, MD; brother, David "Mouse" (Christine) Taylor of Bradford; several nieces, nephews and all of his Tybee Island friends.
The visitation will be on Friday, January 12th from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The memorial service will be on Saturday, January 13th at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Sapp, Palmer, John Boy, Mike Leonard, Jerry Oates, Suitcase and Henry
