Mr. Michael Joseph Vincent Freyne, Jr.
December 1942 - July 2008

Pooler-Michael passed away peacefully on Thursday at his home.

He was the son of Dorothy & Joseph Freyne. He was an Alter Boy at Blessed Sacrament
and was an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Savannah High, class of 1961 and was a
Drill Instructor at Paris Island during the Vietnam War era.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol Rushing Freyne; son, Michael Joseph
Vincent Freyne, III; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denice (Michael) VanCleave and
Amanda (Raymond) Whatley; granddaughter, Jordan; five grandsons, Evan, Mason,
Justin, Noah & Ivy; sister, Victoria (Walt) Wall; three sisters-in-law, Miriam (Robbie)
Terrell, Margie Wilson and Paula (Bruce) Walling; one aunt, one uncle, several nieces,
nephews and cousin.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Tattnall
