Springfield – Mickey Eugene Hamilton, 64, passed away April 7, 2024 at Memorial Health.

He was born in South Carolina and moved to Chatham County as a child.  He was employed with Dirtt Environmental Solutions.  He enjoyed deep sea fishing, working, watching Netflix, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Hamilton; and daughter, Misty Nicole Hamilton; siblings, Johnny Wayne Hamilton, Thomas Hamilton, and Billie Jo Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Edwards Hamilton; son, Micky Eugene Hamilton, Sr.; grandchildren, Alexis Renee Hamilton, Mackinsey Nevaeh Hamilton, and Micky Eugene Hamilton, Jr.; his mother, Dorothy Howell; siblings, Cheryl Humbert, Brian Turner, Tina Childress, and Art Childress; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Kiya.
