Mike Taylor "Hotdog"

Springfield – Mike Taylor “Hotdog”, 71, passed away July 3, 2026 at Candler Hospital.

The California native was employed with Estes for many years where he had a passion for “trucking”. He loved Nascar and watching westerns.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard David Taylor and Carol Ann Dohler Herrington; and his brother, Jimmy Orchard.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Taylor; children, Zach Taylor, Tony Conner, and Donnie Conner (Amanda); grandchildren, Aiden Alen Taylor, Bailey Conner, Tyson Conner, Emily Conner, and Ryder Conner; siblings, Christopher Martin Taylor (Marie), Holland Taylor, Joey Herrington, and Susie Herrington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

No formal service will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the American Cancer Society.
