Mrs. Mildred Elkins Matthews
Savannah-Mrs. Mildred Elkins Matthews, 84, died on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at
Savannah Specialty Care Center.
The Chatham County native retired from Candler Hospital and was preceded in death by
her husband, Jack Matthews.
Survivors include her son, Charles Pate Matthews of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter,
Kathy Matthews Wickizer of Savannah; grandchildren, Stephen Croft, Tommy and
Tiffany Wickizer, all of Savannah, Pate Matthews, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK and Leah
Matthews of Washington, D.C.
Visitation: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Graveside Funeral: 1 p.m. on Thursday at Elkins Cemetery near Guyton.
