Mrs. Mildred B. Tipton, 84, of Port Wentworth, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Westview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Mildred was born in Savannah to the late William & Lillian Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Tipton; daughter, Debbie J. Huskey, son, Tommy Tipton and her siblings. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and loved her dog, Buttons. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn & Jimmy Welsh, Priscilla & Joe McCullough, Theresa & David Finch, and Donna & Ramon Pickard; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
