Obituary

Guyton – Minnie Lou Hunt, 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

The Effingham County native was retired from the Effingham County Schools Transportation Department. She was a member of North Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Virgie Warren; and her brother, Allen Warren.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Hunt; her daughters, Amanda Nease and Jennifer LeClair (James); her brother, Norris Warren; her grandchildren, Courtney Ridge (Zack), Ryan Nease (Allyssa), Matthew Nease, Justin Heath, Jason Heath, and Cassidy Wood; and her great-granddaughter, Lyla Beth Heath.

Visitation: 1-2 pm Saturday, May 8, 2021 at North Salem Baptist Church.

Funeral 2 pm Saturday, May 8, 2021 at North Salem Baptist Church.

Interment: North Salem Baptist Church Cemetery

Remembrances: North Salem Baptist Church, Compassus Hospice, or Effingham County Special Olympics.
