Bloomingdale-Mrs. Minnie "Coty" Rogers Poole, 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Woodlands Healthcare.
Mrs. Minnie was born in Tattnall County to the late Oscar and Emma Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Poole as well as five brothers. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, arts, crafts, cooking and fishing.
Survivors include her children, Shirley Godbee of Bloomingdale and Bill Poole and his wife, Linda of Duluth; grandchildren, Tim Godbee, Terry Godbee and his wife, Darlene, Darlene Holloway, Cendia Rawlins and her husband, Larry and Jason Poole; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel Abler of Reidsville; brother, Eugene Rogers of San Antonio, TX and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with the graveside to follow at 2 p.m. at Reidsville City Cemetery.
