Guyton – Miriam Coleman Babb, 88, passed away July 8, 2024 at home.

The Effingham County native was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, camping, bluegrass music, and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Maggie Tillman Coleman; husband, James "Tater" Babb; son, Darnell Farmer; sister, Mary Lillian Williams; brothers, Eugene, Franklin, and Lewis Coleman.

Survivors include her son, Brian Farmer; daughter-in-law, Karen Cote; grandchildren, Justin Farmer (Rachel), Kelly Farmer, and Daniel Farmer (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Harley, Kaylee, Samuel, and Waylon Farmer; brother, Gary Coleman; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Guyton Cemetery.
