Obituary
Port Wentworth - Miriam Lucille Barnwell Tuten, 82, passed away Monday, April 26,
2010 at Effingham Extended Care.
The Chatham County native was a homemaker and worked in food service. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elizabeth Sanders Barnwell.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Tuten of Port Wentworth; daughters, Elizabeth
(Ronald) Sessions of St. Amant, LA and Linda (Charles) Stone of Sylvania;
grandchildren, Dwayne and Karen Sessions, Eddie and Keith Stone; and her dog, Boo.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to American Cancer Society, 1930
Springfield-Egypt Rd., Springfield, GA 31329.
