Springfield– Miriam Stafford Haralson, 82, passed away March 3, 2022 at Effingham Hospital.

The Savannah, GA native was a former dental assistant with Dr. Ellison Lanier. She was owner of Special Delivery Gift & Gourmet Baskets Gift Shop. Miriam met the love of her life at 18 years old and was married for 63 years before his death last year. She was very hospitable, opening her home to those in need.

She is survived by her children, Joy Haralson, Tommy Haralson (Teresa), and Jill Shuman (Dennis); grandchildren, Cory Shuman (Julia), Christina Haralson (Hao), Jillane Tucker (Daniel), T.J. Haralson, Alex Haralson, Brent Haralson, and Miriam E. Haralson; great-grandchildren, Woods, Wilkes, and William Tucker, and Madelyn and Oliver Phan.

Visitation: 4-6 pm Sunday, March 6, 2022 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Monday, March 7, 2022 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens

Remembrances: American Red Cross Blood Drives.
