Mitchell Morgan

Savannah- Mitchell Morgan, 63 died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at St Joseph's Hospital.

The Clyo native was the son of Raby and Lillie Mae Morgan. He was a member of Wingard Memorial Lutheran Church in Clyo. Mitchell was a graduate of North Georgia College in Dahlonega and had served in the Georgia National Guard. He had worked as a buyer with Belk's and enjoyed fellowship with friends of the Arrow Hunting Club near Clyo. He was also a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and enjoyed family genealogy.

Survivors include his wife, Janell Morgan; son, Arthur Scott Morgan (Christina); step-daughter,
Julie Moreland (David); grandson, Cooper Moreland; aunt, Edna Morgan; and several cousins.

Memorial Service: 11 am Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Wingard Memorial Lutheran Church.

Interment: Ryall Cemetery near Clyo.
