Mrs. Mitzi Dees Cross, 72, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at her home.

Mitzi was born in Claxton, Georgia and was preceded in death by her parents, William Dees and Margie Cowart Dees, and siblings, Billy Dees, Patricia Weaver, Jan Dees, and Robin Champion.  She was a homemaker, and will be remembered for having a great sense of humor, being tender hearted, a loving, kind person, and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ronnie Cross; children, Sheila Brewton (Michael) and Ronald Cross, Jr.; grandchildren, Zachary Brewton (Ansley), Madison Brewton, Scarlet Cross, and Silas Cross; siblings, Melba Sikes, Marilyn Spikes, Dana Brown, and Alice Hood, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The memorial service to honor Mitzi's life will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
