Mrs. Mozelle Jarriel DuBose

Port Wentworth - Mrs. Mozelle Jarriel DuBose, 88 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Hospice Savannah

Mozelle was the daughter of Remer and Frances Jarriel of Lyons, GA, and lived in Port Wentworth since 1955.

For 53 years, Mozelle was one of God's faithful servants at Port Wentworth United Methodist Church. The life she lived was her testimony to everyone who knew her. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women and the Kate Hester Sunday School Class.

Her husband of 60 years B.W. DuBose and a son Brion W. DuBose preceded Mozelle in death.

She leaves behind to treasure her memory a son, Kenneth L. DuBose and wife Alice, daughters, Linda Delane Ausley and husband Sam, Debby D. Carter and husband, Jim all of Savannah; sister, Tince O'Neal of Augusta; four grandchilden, David Ausley, Jeff Carter, Jennifer Nease, and Kendal Carter; one great-grandson, Cason Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Port Wentworth United Methodist Church. Mrs. DuBose will lie in state from 12 noon at the church.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
