Mrs. Beverly Curtis Clark, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Azalealand Nursing Home.
Beverly will be missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Jodi Willis Clark; grandson, Donald Willis “Will” Clark; granddaughter, Charlotte Adele Clark; sister, Harriett Curtis Belk, and a number of friends and extended family members.
Beverly was born in Hamlet, North Carolina and had lived in the Savannah and Pooler areas for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde “Don” Clark; parents, Harrison and Elizabeth Neimeyer Curtis; sister, Marilyn Runyon; companion, Walt Armour, and several brothers and sisters-in-law. She was a member at both Pooler First Baptist Church as well as Bible Baptist Church. She spent her career in the banking business, beginning at Liberty National Bank which later became Trust Company Bank, and later Sun Trust Bank. She was a member of the Bank’s retirees group and spent many years volunteering for the Savannah Baptist Center.
She’ll be remembered by all who knew her for her gentle, tender, and loving heart, as well as for her devout faith. Invariably, the first word that comes to mind when anyone describes her is “sweet”, and her sweet heart left an impression on everyone she met.
Beverly loved her family, friends, and church; she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Beverly’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Savannah Baptist Center (savbaptistcenter.org).
