Bloomingdale - Muriel Nelson Oetgen, 84, died October 5, 2015 at her home.

The Lancashire, England native was owner/operator of Oetgen Ranch. She was married in the Church of England and was a longtime member of Alpha United Methodist Church where she had been active in the Watson Davis Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Oetgen, Sr.; her parents, James & Elsie Nelson; and sisters, Elsie Burnett and Irene Norrington.

Survivors include her sons, Frank Oetgen, Jr., Jimmy Oetgen (Debbie), and Julian Oetgen; 3 grandchildren, Julie Oetgen, Brandy Bennett, and Donny Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces, Susan Burnett, Jackie Harvey (Michael), Caroline Lindner (Don), and Lori Sancomb (Bill); 3 nephews, David Burnett (Maureen), Richard Burnett, and Gerald Norrington (Shirley); and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5-7 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Friday, October 9, 2015 in the chapel.

Burial: Hillcrest Abbey East.

Pallbearers: Ryan Wills, Eric Tindall, Steve Hulette, Gene English, Michael Harvey, and Don Lindner.

Remembrances: Alpha United Methodist Church.
