Myrtice Elizabeth Ford
Springfield- Myrtice Elizabeth Ford, 93, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Effingham Care Center.
The Effingham County native was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she had been active in the Lydia Circle and the Altar Guild. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #209 Auxillary, where she had served as President for a term.
Survivors include her husband, A. Eustace Ford; sons, Eustace Ford (Nancy), Dale Ford, and Doug Ford (Janice); a brother, Newton McLeod; a sister, Dora Arnsdorff; seven grandchildren, Tony Ford, Stephanie Jones, Daniel Ford, Jason Ford, Jared Rahn, Dustin Ford, and Jake Ford; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 2-3 pm Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 3 pm Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens.
