Pooler-Mrs. Myrtle Johnson Clark, 82, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Hospice Savannah.
Mrs. Clark was born in Glenwood, GA to the late Randall & Daisy Johnson. She was of the Holiness faith and she retired from Candler Hospital as a nurse's aide. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Clark; grandsons, Michael Love and Randall Ricks; great-granddaughter, Skylar Barnes; brothers, Marvis Johnson, Truby Johnson and Calvin Johnson and a sister, Marie Wells.
Survivors include her children, Oscar B. Love, Jr., Frank Love and his wife, Barbara, Jack Love and his wife, Donna, and Peggy Hales; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Warren B. "Dub" Johnson and a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the funeral home.
The funeral to celebrate Mrs. Myrtle's life was held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Bob LaFavi officiated and Ms. Peggy Hales offered a Eulogy. Active Pallbearers were Mark Arnsdorff, Brian Bamburg, James Love, Chris Kibeck, Bruce Wilds, Charles Douglas and Oscar B. Love, Sr. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
