Nadine C. Purvis Beatty, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023.

Nadine was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Lewis Harold Purvis and Annie Lou Page Purvis. She had been employed with Groves High School for a number of years as a secretary. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and traveling.

Survivors include her three children, Cathy Beatty-Hunt (Dennis), Julie Beatty-Houston (Mack), and Chuck Beatty (Stephanie) along with her sister, Jeanne Purvis Futch. She was "Nan" to her ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and "Sudee" to her nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Nadine's life will be on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah, Georgia.
