Nan NeSmith DeWitt

Roswell, GA- Nan NeSmith DeWitt, 94, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at Roswell Nursing and Rehab Center.

The Bulloch County native was retired from the Bulloch County Board of Education. She was a member of the North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, where she had been active in the Adult Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar A., DeWitt, Sr.; her son, Andrew Kenneth Hollingsworth; and her great-granddaughter, Emma Claire Hollingsworth.

Survivors: daughter, Judy Hollingsworth Harrelson of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Dennis and Rebecca Hollingsworth of Lawrenceville; daughter-in-law, Ann Hollingsworth of Dublin; two brothers, Inman NeSmith and John David Nesmith, both of Statesboro; three grandchildren, Lori Hill of Dublin, Andrew Kenneth Hollingsworth, Jr. of Cumming, and Jeff Hollingsworth of Lawrencville; three great-grandsons, Evan and Jackson Hill of Dublin and Owen Hollingsworth of Cumming.

Visitation: 10-11 am Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 7198 Harville Rd., Statesboro, GA 30458.
