Mrs. Nancy L. Blackmon, 77, of Eden, GA, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Candler Hospital.

Nancy was born February 5, 1947, in Eden, GA where she lived for most of her life. She found a passion for gardening, fishing and most of all cooking. A fresh baked poundcake was often found in her kitchen, and no one ever left her home without a meal.

She was predeceased by her husband, Larry L. Blackmon, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Lewis Blackmon, Sandra Wrye (Charles), Donna Hodges, Joseph Blackmon (Jennifer), Jimmy Blackmon, Lorie Yoder (Jason), Jacob Blackmon (Christina), and Matthew Blackmon; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many "adopted" children.

A graveside service will be held to honor Nancy's life at 4:00pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
