Bloomingdale- Nancy M. Read, 74, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Hospice Savannah.
The Chicago, IL native was a devoted member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Claxton. She was a Rockford College graduate and active in the Girl Scouts, the Coastal Heritage Society, and the Chamber of Commerce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Read, III.
Survivors include her daughter, Holly R. Pope; son, Raymond E. Read, IV; and beloved grandson, Aaron R. Pope; and other relatives.
Memorial Service: 2 pm Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church.
