Mrs. Nancy L. Wilcox, born July 11, 1932, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by family at the age of 90.  She is a member of Central Baptist Church in Garden City.  Nancy was born in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Benjamin Amerson and Audrey Amerson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Wilcox, sister, Betty White, brother, Frankie Amerson, and a daughter, Vallie Evans.  Nancy was a spit fire of a lady, loving wife, mother, grandmother, Big Grannie, and great-great-grandmother.  She is survived by daughter, Patsy West (Billy), son Emmitt Wilcox (Kerri), daughter, Teresa Hammond (Bert), and son James Wilcox (Julia); 12 grandkids, 29 great-grandkids, and 4 great-great-grandkids.

The visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Central Baptist Church located at 4010 Old Louisville Road in Garden City.  The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary with Brother Kenny Harrelson officiating.  Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Giddens Harrell Cemetery located at 205-419 Giddens Harrell Cemetery Road, Eastman, GA.
