Guyton – Nathan Kyle Carpenter, 28, passed away October 23, 2021 at Effingham Hospital.

Born March 13, 1993 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, he was a longtime Effingham County resident and a Eagle Scout.  He worked at the Mars Theatre where he was instrumental, was a board member for Habitat for Humanity, volunteered at a number of churches, and was a student at GA Southern University majoring in International Studies and Arabic Language.

He is survived by his parents, David Leonard Karpowicz and Wendy Kay Wildes; brother, Benjamin Clayton Carpenter; grandparents, Leonard and Kathryn Karpowicz and Franklin and Rose Wildes; aunt, Laura Darna; Uncle, Steven Wildes; and a number of cousins.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Habitat for Humanity, 3605 Hwy. 21 S., Rincon, GA 31326.
