Mr. Nathaniel Jackson Lanier, Jr. "Jack", 68, of Ellabell, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Jack was born in Savannah and was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Lanier. He was the owner/operator of Lanier Enterprises, a member of Pooler Church and served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Flowers Lanier; children and their spouses, Nathaniel "Jack" Lanier, III (Michelle), Ronnie Lanier (Cheryl) and Walter Lanier (Beth); grandchildren, Victoria Lanier Votery "Tori", Nathaniel J. Lanier IV "T.J.", Zachary Lanier, Dylan Lanier, Parker Lanier, Madison Lanier, Mason Lanier, Taylor Houston, James Sheppard, Jr., and Justus Sheppard; father, Nathaniel Jackson Lanier, Sr. (Geraldine); sisters, Gloria Gibson (Jimmy) and Jean McClendon (Bill) and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
