Obituary
Savannah – Mrs. Nell Mullins Roach, 89, was welcomed home on September 25, 2011.
Mrs. Roach lovingly supported her late husband, Charles J. Roach, Sr., during their 68 years of marriage while raising their three children. She instilled in her children a legacy of love and Christian faith in which they demonstrated even through her passing. She was an unforgettable genteel lady and was raised in Trinity United Methodist Church of Pooler, GA., and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is missed and loved by her children and their spouses; Charles and Linda Roach, Jr., John and Jan Roach, and Cherolyn R. and Frank Owenby; seven grandchildren and their spouses as well as twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home with interment at Hillcrest Abbey East.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Point Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210 or to the American Cancer Society, 6600 Abercorn Street, Suite 206, Savannah, GA 31405.
