MIDWAY: Mrs. Nellie "Elaine" Johnson, 62, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Boone, NC to the late Coleman Hester and Helen Hayes. She was a member of Daniel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Hershel E. Johnson of Midway; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Charles Smith of Midway; son, Timmy Ramage of Midway; grandchildren, Kristin and Christopher Smith; brothers, Richard and Charles Hester, both of Savannah; sisters, Margaret Hester and partner, Diana Yliz of Savannah and Mary Anne Dayton of Bloomingdale; nephews, Richard and Anthony Hester and the rest of her loving family in Boone, NC. and her friends in the surrounding area.
Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
