BLOOMINGDALE: Mrs. Nelouise Price Flanders Ansley, 79, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Hospice Savannah.
A native of Wrightsville, Nelouise is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Price and Evelyn Fordham. She was past Worthy Matron Eastern Star, Savannah Chapter 52 and a member of Central Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband, of 43 years, Charles Waldon Ansley; daughter, Sally F. Shuman (Buddy) of Ellabell; sons, Arthur Lee "Al" Flanders, Jr. (Cheryl) of Pembroke and Charles Waldon "Chuck" Ansley, II (Robin) of Bloomingdale; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Mary McIntyre (Marvin) of Vidalia; brother, Verlon Price (Betty) of Swainsboro and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
