Springfield – Nevelyn Rahn Jackson, 83, passed away April 11, 2025 at Candler Hospital.

The Effingham County native was a homemaker and baker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Rahn; husband, J. B. Jackson; and brother, Doodle Rahn.

Survivors include her daughter, Penny Redmond (Amanda); son, Kash Redmond (Lisa); grandsons, Dillon Redmond and Dustin Redmond (Amber); sisters, Kathleen Neidlinger, Wynell Redmond, and Jacquelyn Simmons; brother, Reginald Rahn (Joann); and a number of nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be held.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the Wounded Warriors.
