Ellabell – Nick Clay Trawick, 68, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA.
Nick was born in Washington County, Georgia and lived in Savannah prior to moving to Bulloch County in 1984. Nick was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church and owner of several businesses including Continental Machinery, Trawick Machinery and Quipco Inc.
Nick was dearly loved and will be missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Nancy Elliott Trawick; children, Clay Trawick, Tony Trawick and wife Sarah, Eddie Bragg and wife Laura, Angela Bragg Thomas, Maria Trawick Gibson and husband Jim. He will also be remembered affectionately by 13 loving grandchildren.
Also surviving are his sister, Nellie Mae Trawick Gibson and brother, Jesse Owen Trawick and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Nick is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Clay and Nellie Mae Trawick; brother, Thomas Clay Trawick and sister, Mary Tucker.
Visitation will be at 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenwich Cemetery in Savannah with military honors.
