Mr. N.L. "Nat" Carter, 92, of Guyton, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016.
Mr. Carter was born in Bloomingdale to the late Franklin & Edith Carter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Inez Carter, two children, Ronald and Rita, and two grandchildren. He retired from Boilermakers Local 26, and enjoyed horses, gardening, fishing, and woodworking.
Survivors include his children, Dorothy Ausley, Betty Humphries, Tina Carter, and Donald Carter; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Mr. Carter's life will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Elkins Cemetery on Hwy. 204.
