Novodeen "Novie" Rogers Pritcher
October 24, 1930 – June 4, 2022
Novie Pritcher passed away June 4, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 24, 1930 in Patterson, Georgia and was the daughter of Charlie and Nancy Chancey Rogers. Novie was the youngest of 7 children.  She married Joel Wayne Pritcher on November 18, 1951.  She was a homemaker, excellent cook, and talented seamstress. She had an unusual love and talent for gardening, growing flowers and plants, and shared her knowledge with many.  Through the years, she was a gifted Sunday School teacher who shared her faith, love for the Lord, and understanding of the Scriptures with many. She sang in the choir and held leadership roles in her church in the women's organizations, including in the Savannah Baptist Association.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, all of her brothers and sisters that she loved dearly and two great-grandaughters, Tobi Ruth and Brayli Faith.  She is survived by the daughter and son she cherished, Dale Drinkwater (Steve) and Jody Pritcher (Bonnie).  Her grandchildren are Lindsay (Chace), Whitney (Salvador), Bevin (Carey), Gray, Bailey, Gable, Kaylyn (Jake), Ashton, and Chancey.  She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren: Haylie, Hayden, Kaisyn, Kathryn, Paisley, Tivoli, Cutler, Timber, Fender, Piper, Tabby, Selah, Gideon, and Norah and many nieces and nephews.  Also, much appreciation and gratitude for the years of love and attention by her neighbor and friend, Trish Gordon and the lagoon back-door neighbors of Steeple Run Townhomes.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to First Baptist Church of Garden City, 35 Nelson Avenue, Garden City, GA  31408.  The family will receive friends on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home - WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL - 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, GA.
