Bloomingdale-Mrs. Ocea Cornelia Wise Davis, 87, passed away on Friday, February 26,
2010.

She was born in Clyde, GA and loved her family, often telling stories about how she
loved living in Clyde. She was preceded in death by husbands, Corbitt Cribbs, Ernest
John Osteen, Welcome Rawlings and Luther W. Davis; daughter, Rita C. Ryan, son,
Ernest Osteen, Jr.; grandson, Dana Ryan; father and mother, Albert Addis Wise and
Minnie Mae Wise and six siblings, Altha Wise O'Bryan, Cleta Mae Wise Williams,
Minnie Lois Wise, Auburn Dorsey Wise and Slayton Dennis Wise.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jettie Cribbs Deal and Bill Deal of
Bethlehem, GA and Sue Osteen Shirah and Leon Shirah of Bloomingdale;
daughter-in-law, Joan Osteen; twelve grandchildren, Craig Deal, Melissa Deal Kerlin,
Cindy Poole Rollins, Jason Poole, Suzette Shirah Rewis, Justin Shirah, Kathy Ryan Clay,
William Ryan, Jr., Kenneth Ryan, Gary Ryan, Julie Osteen and Jay Osteen; eighteen
great-grandchildren and blessed with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Thomas C.
Strickland & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev.
Ivey Spence and Rev. Anna Kelley officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Poole, Justin
Shirah, Jerry Williams, Brian Rewis, Jay Osteen and John Seckinger. Burial will follow
at Gravel Hill Cemetery on Hwy. 80 in Bloomingdale.
