Obituary
Pooler-Mr. Oliver V. Corbitt, 57, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Corbitt was born in Coffee County and was a ceramic tile setter. He was vivacious man who was a wonderful father and grandfather who loved to hunt, fish and sing. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his father, Frank Corbitt.
Survivors include his children, Macon & Michael Clemmons of Guyton, Lauralyn & Michael Jarrell of Pooler and Zeke Corbitt of Pooler; mother, Daphine P. Corbitt; grandchildren, Tripp, Noah, Chloe, Evan and Emma Jarrell, Dylan, Kelly and Mallory Clemmons and Lacie Scardina as well as several cousins and aunts.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Pooler located at 204 West Highway 80.
