Springfield – Onnie Lynell Arsdorff, 60, passed away August 23, 2021 at Effingham Hospital.

The Chatham County native was a member of Turkey Branch United Methodist Church.  She was a loving mother who enjoyed joking around, watching t.v. and movies, putting puzzles together on the computer, listening to audio books, socializing, enjoying the outdoors, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.  She had an infectious laugh, a smile that could light up any room, and a heart full of compassion.  She always looked for the good in everyone and loved and appreciated everyone beyond all faults.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Lavonne Arnsdorff and Mary Fleonnie Howard Arnsdorff Derryberry; sister, Nita Arnsdorff; and husband, John Welby Andrews.

Survivors include her son, John Wilton Arnsdorff; sister, Marsha Williams (Dallas); nieces, Dana Rahn (Tony), Danielle Stone (Joel), and Brandi Fort; several aunts; numerous cousins; and a life-long friend, Michael Helmly.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
