Savannah-Mr. Oscar B. Love, Sr., 87, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Oscar was born in Palatka, FL to the late James & Daisy Love. He loved to fish, play the guitar, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Jean "Kitten" Love; children, Oscar "Bennie" Love, Jr. (deceased), James Frank Love and his wife, Barbara, Jack Randal Love and his wife, Donna, and Peggy Love Hales; step-sons, Robert King and his wife, Jo Ellen, and Charles Hawkins and his wife, Joy; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, David Love (deceased) three half-brothers, Warren, O.B., Lambert, and Ellis Love (all deceased); grandson, Michael Love (deceased); great-granddaughter, Skylar Barnes (deceased).
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral and burial: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elkins Cemetery on Hwy. 204.
