POOLER: Mr. Oscar R. Todd, 82, died Monday, September 1, 2009 at Candler Hospital.
Mr. Todd was born in Chatham County to late Willie O. Todd and Lena Nease. He was a member of South Newington Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and he retired from International Paper. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Todd of Pooler; two daughters, Esther White of Guyton and Sandra Cobb of Pooler; three sons, Stanley Todd of Denver, CO, Billy Todd of Pooler and Steve Todd of Bloomingdale; two brothers, Russell Todd of TN and Everett Todd of Savannah; one sister, Alberta Bragg of Savannah; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Eddie Tomberlin officiating.
Burial: Bethel Cemetery on Little Neck Road.
