Rincon – Otis Lamar Lowery, 81, passed away February 8, 2025 at Lakeview Manor after an extended illness.
The Chatham County native retired from Gulfstream after 39 years of service. He loved trips to Elijah Clark and spending time on the lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Jordan Lowery and Minnie Edge Lowery; his wife, Sarah Ann Durrence Lowery; siblings, Harvey J. Lowery, Barbara Cooley (Jack), Joan Ketron (Jerry), and Linda Parker (Ken); grandsons, Jason Kicklighter and Justin Thompson-Garris.
Survivors include his children, Brian Kicklighter (Therese), Karen Barber (William), Sharon Reichard (Jason), and Patrick Lowery (Heather); 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lou Andruzzi (Louie) and Linda Lowery; a number of nieces and nephews; and childhood friend, Neal Harden.
The family would like to thank the residents and staff at Lakeview Manor and the staff of Sun Care Hospice for the love shown to Mr. Lowery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 12 noon in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Sun Care Hospice, 804 Towne Park Drive, Suite 200, Rincon, GA 31326.
