Mrs. Pamela Whitten Collins, 73, of Claxton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at her home.

Pamela was born on December 3, 1948 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Arthur Muller Tidwell and Blanche Sharp Tidwell.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, David Whitten, Sr., her sister, Cornelia , and great-grandson, CJ.  She loved life, her family, dancing, crabbing, and the Lord.

Survivors include her husband, Carroll Collins; her children and their spouses, David Whitten, Jr. (Laura), Christine Sanders (Sean), and Heidi Whitten; two bonus children, Jodi Cowart and Eric Collins; sisters, Deborah Peterson (Mickey), and Karen Edenfield; nine grandchildren; four bonus grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

The visitation will be on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Greenwich Cemetery.
