Guyton – Pamela Joy Taylor, 53, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
The Effingham County native was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Groves High School Class of 1979 and an avid country music fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Taylor and Josephine Calhoun Anderson; brother, Rusty Taylor; and brother-in-law, Von Swartz.
Survivors include her siblings, Rick Taylor, Rod Taylor (Susan), Sue Taylor Swartz, and Cathy Zipperer (Dwight); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and devoted friend (sister) Debbie Browning Williams.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 3608 Midland Rd., Guyton, GA 31312.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West.
Remembrances may be given to Muscular Dystrophy Association, www.MDA.org, March of Dimes, www.marchofdimes.com, or charity of choice.
