Port Wentworth-Mrs. Pansy Burns Gnann, 94, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. Pansy was born in Clyo to the late David & Ethel Burns. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William S. "Billy" Gnann. She loved her church, First Baptist of Port Wentworth, where she had been a member since 1947.
Survivors include her children, Marsha (Delray) Carlee, and Durwood (Debbie) Gnann; grandchildren, Trent, Jason, Cody, Melissa, and Laura; great-grandchildren, Mattie, Gavin, Claire, Sarah Beth, Lydia, Liam, Ansley, Sarah, Alice, Dean, Jack, and Sam; a number of nieces and nephews; and two nieces who were like daughters, Arlene and Edwena; her fury friend, Memphis, who shared a mutual love for one another. The family would like to thank Rose Cook, who helped take care of Mrs. Pansy.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
