Mrs. Patricia Louise Atchison "Pat" Popiela

Guyton – Mrs. Patricia Louise Atchison "Pat" Popiela, 91, passed away November 29, 2019 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Born June 19, 1928 in Vincennes, IN to the late Pearl Atchison and Rosa White Atchison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Popiela; 2 sons, Robert Patrick Boucek and William Raymond Boucek; 3 step-children, Morris Livengood, May Walden, and Fay Parrish.

Survivors include her daughters, Virginia Livengood Sutton and Mary-Kate Bright (Jeff Bright); grandchildren, Adam Jeffrey Paul Bright, Rachel Catherine Bright Miller (Andrew Miller) and Joshua Femiano; and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday followed by memorial services at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church, 1625 Fort Howard Road, Rincon, GA 31326.

Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church with Father Nicholas Hubbard officiating.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Saints Mary and Martha Monastery in Wagener, SC.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donehoo Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.
